11 of the 17 Autonomous Communities increased their wine export prices in the first quarter of 2022.
This explains why the turnover of Spanish exports remained relatively stable, with 715.2 million euros (-0.9%), despite the volume falling by 12.5% to 617 million liters, after a terrible month of March.
Catalonia, in value, and the Valencian Community, in volume, communities that most increased their exports. Castilla-La Mancha led the sales in a clear way, although it lost quota.
By province, Barcelona consolidates as the most bill, although the domain of Ciudad Real in volume is indisputable, despite losing quota. All 50 provinces exported some kind of wine product.
